Business presentation
The Center for Business Education, Innovation and Development (CBEID.org) will
present a panel on financial markets and the impact on local businesses at 4
p.m. Thursday at the Geneva History Center, 113 S. Third St. The group is a
nonprofit initiative to safeguard the economic well-being of the Tri-Cities area
in the face of global competition. Moderating the panel is Sheila Penrose, who
co-founded and chairs Corporate Leadership Center, a partnership between major
corporations and Kellogg School of Management. Panelists have specialties from
currencies and interest rates to bonds and equities.
